What is your job title at Apex?

Service Account Manager

What do you think Apex has done well with onboarding and training new employees during these unprecedented times?

The 30-day onboarding plan is fantastic! It's very well put together with a variety of video learning, reading, video sales meetings, and conference call.  Best onboarding I’ve seen with any company regardless of the unprecedented times.

What advice do you have for prospective Apex candidates?

This is an incredible company and if you are fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work here, you should jump all over it!

What problems do you solve for clients in your role?

I like to think I simplify [the process] for them and look after all aspects of their project without them having to call 3 different companies for one job. Low voltage, electrical, movers, disposal… we can do it all with one call, one proposal, one crew. My job is to simplify their challenges and make them feel comfortable and confident that we will take excellent care of the whole project from start to finish.

What is your favorite aspect of your role at Apex?

I have two favorites. 1.) I absolutely love the collaborative nature at Apex, everyone helps everyone, everyone feeds off one another’s knowledge and industry experience to collectively make us all more valuable in the industry as a whole. 2.) I love the ongoing education.  Apex is constantly honing everyone’s skills whether it’s with product knowledge, social media platform knowledge, leadership books we analyze together, or anything you want to learn about, Apex is always about broadening your skillset.

If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would like to see cast as you?

Tina Fey!

What’s one item on your bucket list?

The Giant Manta Ray night dive in Hawaii.

What’s the best place you’ve traveled to, and why?

That’s a tough question, I’ve been to lots of places and loved them all for various reasons. One is not better than another, they are all different and amazing in their own way.

What’s your favorite restaurant in Seattle?

Metropolitan Grill.

What’s your favorite App?

There are so many that make my life SO much easier. Maps is probably the one that I value the most though. (Which was recently proven when I was without a phone for half a day and had to try to navigate without a GPS!)

Bonnie_SpotlightWhat keeps you engaged outside of work?

Anything outdoors, hiking, biking, kayaking, scuba diving, and travel! And of course, my kids but doesn’t that go without saying.

If you could do anything and know you would not fail, what would it be?

I’d be a travel blogger! To just travel and share your experiences and be successful at it… wow, what a life!

Tell us something that might surprise us about you.

I’ve written one poem in my life and it’s published.
