At Apex Facility Resources, we believe in celebrating not just the professional accomplishments of our team but also the unique personalities that drive our success. Our Employee Spotlight offers a glimpse into the lives of our exceptional team members, each of whom is dedicated to creating innovative and efficient workplace solutions for our clients.
In this Employee Spotlight, we’re pleased to introduce Evan Jess, Warehouse Lead. Let's dive into what makes him passionate both in and out of the workplace.
My wife Nikki, our daughter Lianna, my family, cooking, disc golf, video games, gardening, and anything involving a lake or outdoor activity.
Any chance to go out and do a hike, try out a new restaurant, or drive to the coast for the weekend have also been great escapes to stay passionate outside of work and allow the mind to relax and possibly take in new ideas or ways of thinking.
By providing accuracy and proficiency to our clients, project managers, and all Apex team members, I can help relieve some of the stress related to moving, storage solutions, and project management. This creates synergy for everyone involved.
I really enjoy the teamwork aspect of my new position. Everyone is ready to help when needed and provide advice.

Dance and love like it’s your last day on earth.
Treat people like you want to be treated and never assume you know someone’s situation in life.
El Camion and the Pink Door. If you haven’t been to either of these places you should try them.
Open a restaurant or a green screen studio. It’s always something that I thought would be cool, fun and creative.
In 2018, I competed in the R2AK sailboat race. A coworker at the time was an avid sailor and had acquired an IOR-class sailboat, so we entered the race. We weren’t expected to do very well, but we ended up finishing in 7th place.
I would say that “Curious & Continuous Learner” and “Natural Problem Solver” would be the two traits that speak the most to me. I feel like these aspects of the job are what ultimately drew me here and what will most likely make me want to stay for years to come.
