At Apex Facility Resources, we believe in celebrating not just the professional accomplishments of our team but also the unique personalities that drive our success. Our Employee Spotlight offers a glimpse into the lives of our exceptional team members, each of whom is dedicated to creating innovative and efficient workplace solutions for our clients.
In this Employee Spotlight, we’re pleased to introduce Lindsey Mann, Controller. Let's dive into what makes her passionate both in and out of the workplace.
Spending time with my husband and fur babies. Being by and on the water – kayaking, taking walks by the Puget Sound or a lake. Reading. Writing. Knitting.
In my role as Controller, my main “clients” are the company ownership team and internal team members. I help solve financial discrepancies, how the company and departments can maximize their budgets, how to interpret and understand financial statements & reporting so they can make informed financial decisions in a timely manner, how to move through times of tight cashflow, how to maximize profits, etc.
Being able to provide consistent, reliable, accurate information and impeccable support to enhance the overall health of the business.
I’ve learned to set, communicate, and honor healthy boundaries when it comes to time as well as checking and responding to emails. I’ve found that not checking emails on my phone in frequent intervals during the evenings and weekends has helped tremendously with creating a healthy work/life balance.
Mel Robbins.
No one’s coming. No one. It’s up to you. You’re always going to need to push yourself. You’re always going to need to parent yourself. It’s your job to make yourself do the crap you don’t want to do to have consistently aligned action propelling you toward the life you want.
El Gaucho.
Being physically active and nourishing my mind, body, and soul. Learning more about human psychology and gaining greater understanding of the human condition.
I love hip-hop, rap, R&B music.
Curious & Continuous Learner because I am driven to understand the “what”, “how”, and “why” of things. I am internally motivated to evolve and grow. Change is constant and staying open and curious helps me navigate through change and apply what I’m learning. I enjoy adding knowledge to my proverbial toolbox to draw upon in various situations that arise.
