What keeps you passionate outside of work?

Playing guitar, learning to cook, as well as spending quality time with my wife.

What problems do you solve for clients in your role?

Overseeing that our operations are running smoothly and efficiently, so our customers can always expect a high level of satisfaction, while also keeping things running smoothly day to day for our employees so they can achieve the most with their projects.

What’s your favorite aspect of your role at Apex?

Being able to be a sponge, absorbing everyone’s expertise. I also love being in a leadership position that allows me to mentor people.

How do you keep a healthy work/life balance?

Working hard every day to ensure that I can split my time well and give full focus to work when needed, to family and friends when they need it, and to focus on myself when I am in need.

If you could choose anyone, who would you pick as your mentor?

Tough question. Probably Ken Griffey Jr. He came in and showed everyone he was the best at what he does, as well as being able to lead a team at a high level from such a young age. He also was on the team that saved baseball in Seattle in 1995, so I have to thank him for keeping a team around for me to root for.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?

If you have something to say or offer, speak up.

What’s your favorite restaurant in Seattle?

Purple. It’s the first place my wife and I went on a date when we were 19 and 18. It will always hold a special place in our hearts. 𖹭

If you could do anything and know you would not fail, what would it be?

If it can be something I’m not already good at, then it would have to be being a professional baseball player. Getting paid millions to play the greatest game invented? I’ll take that, for sure.

Tell us something that might surprise us about you.

When I was a kid, I got paid to test new Lunchable products as part of a nationwide survey for a new line of Lunchables Kraft was putting out.

Which part of our company DNA speaks the most to you and why?

Being a curious and continuous learner. I have always believed that if we are not growing, we are dying. If we want to achieve success and goals in our life, we have to always be ready to be humbled, and we need to always have the need to increase our knowledge as much as we possibly can. It pays to know things.
